What is polymer reinforced fiber?
The short answer is FUSIONFIBER®.
The longer answer is;
A composite material made of fiber filaments held in place by a polymer matrix.
Choose polymer of your that reflects the characteristics and properties required by your need (see our Polymer Diagram on the What We Do page)
Combine the polymer with a fiber type and layup that meets the desired strength, structure and weight.
Fiber types are unidirectional, chopped tape and recycled.
What makes FUSIONFIBER® special?
FUSIONFIBER® outperforms typical epoxy fiber structures in a variety of important ways including weight, durability, performance and recyclability.
Tracability. Where does the fiber and polymer that makes up FUSIONFIBER® come from?
The fibers come from manufacturers in the USA.
Most of the polymers come from Europe.
